2010-08-02Sodom: New Album Title, Release Date Revealed
Veteran German thrashers Sodom have set "In War And Pieces" as the title of their new album, due on November 22, 2010 via SPV/Steamhammer. The CD is being produced by Waldemar Sorychta, who has previously worked with Tiamat, Moonspell, Lacuna Coil and Sentenced, among many others. Sodom bassist/vocalist Thomas "Angelripper" Such recently stated about the group's new material, "There has never been a Sodom album which is so wide-ranged, as powerful and as typically Sodom as this one."

2007-04-06Sentenced - guitarist starts merchandising company
Many have been wondering what happened to the individual members of Sentenced after the band was buried in 2005. Singer Ville Laihiala is focusing on Poisonblack who released their second album “Lust Stained Despair” in August 2006 and toured Europe with their labelmates Lacuna Coil right afterwards. In the meantime guitarist Sami Lopakka has started a merchandising company which he introduced at the Finnish Metal Expo 2007 where Sentenced also received their gold-DVD for the overwhelming success of “Buried Alive” in Finland. 2006-11-20Sentenced: “Buried Alive” check ecard for full DVD menu incl. snippets!
On November 27, 2006, the ultimate legacy of dearly missed Sentenced will hit European shops: Their long-awaited 2DVD and 2CD “Buried Alive”, SENTENCED’s first official live-document that gives their dedicated fans no less than their last ever show, recorded October 1st, 2005. Klaffi Productions from Oulu (who already did the awesome clip for “Ever-Frost” and the brand new live-clip for “Despair-Ridden Hearts“) had filmed and edited the entire event for everybody who couldn’t make it to this very special show and of course also for every single one of you who witnessed the burial of Sentenced. The audio on the DVD is available as stereo and 5.1 mix. In addition you can find a full disc of intimate bonus-material from their last year on the road, behind the scenes, extensive interviews, an animated photo-gallery and all video-clips the band ever did for a total of more than 300 minutes of SENTENCED.
