| 2013-04-09 | Lindsay Lohan misses court deposition | Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan failed to show for a deposition related to her ongoing court battle with a photographer on Monday.
"The Mean Girls" star had been ordered to appear at a hearing in Los Angeles as part of her ongoing legal spat with snapper Grigor Balyan, who claims he ended up in hospital after he was hit by Lohan's car outside a nightclub in 2010.
But according to TMZ.com, Lohan missed the meeting, despite her attorney Julia Azrael's reported attempts to get in touch with her client about the important date.
The website reports that Balyan's lawyers are now set to file papers demanding a judge force Lohan to show up for the next day in court.
Azrael spoke out in February to criticize Lohan for allegedly failing to keep in contact and sort out a date for the deposition.
The 26 year old has just a few weeks to get her personal matters in order before she has to enrol in a rehabilitation facility by 2 May for a court-ordered 90-day treatment stint.
Lohan was handed that punishment for lying to police over a car crash in California last year.

Lindsay Lohan has launched an angry tirade at TV bosses over a new reality show which appears to show her turning up late for a photoshoot - the troubled actress is adamant she was "set up".
The Mean Girls star was booked to feature in an episode of new Bravo series Double Exposure, which offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the work of celebrity photography duo Markus Klinko and Indrani, and fashion stylist GK Reid.
Lohan signed up for a photoshoot back in September to promote her leggings brand, which would be taped for the show.
But the actress is fuming after discovering the episode, which aired in the U.S. on Tuesday, was titled 'Is Lindsay Here Yet?' and focused on her tardiness.
The star admits she was late for the shoot, but she's alleged producers deliberately gave her the wrong start time.
In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, Lohan writes, "This couldn't be more UNTRUE - sucks when 'friends' use you (in this case for ratings) even if they're lying...
"As for BRAVO and their false representation of me on their new show; I was given the wrong call time - now I know on purpose... it was a set-up. I don't appreciate being used for press, and I'm sure others would agree! Photo shoot for Indrani and Markus... So that's bulls**t too.... Thank goodness for Twitter! The truth can be stated!"

Lindsay Lohan has denied violating the terms of her May bail following the recall of a bench warrant for her arrest.
Judge Marsha Revel called an emergency meeting with Lohan's attorney and prosecutors on Tuesday to discuss reports the alcohol monitoring ankle bracelet the star wears began flashing during a night out.
Lohan appeared to have broken a court order banning her from drugs and alcohol after the device started to light up at an MTV Movie Awards afterparty in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The judge decided the alarm constituted a violation of the 23 year old's bail agreement and issued the arrest warrant - but it was rescinded an hour later when Lohan's representative David Perez put down £13,300 towards her £133,000 bail.
Meanwhile, the Mean Girls star remains adamant she did nothing to trigger the gadget.
In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, Lohan writes, "My SCRAM (ankle bracelet) wasn't set off - it's physically impossible considering I've (done) nothing for it to go off - all of these false reports are absolutely wrong.
"How insane are these accusations?! I did not violate anything... at all. It is just unfortunate and unfair because it distracts from the fact & the truth that I'm in such a good place."
Lohan was fitted with the anklet last month after missing probation hearings related to drug and drink-driving arrests.
A status hearing is scheduled for 6 July, reports TMZ.com.

| 2008-08-22 | Ne-Yo apologises for Lindsay Lohan | Ne-Yo has apologised to Lindsay Lohan for presuming she’d be a rubbish singer.
Closer crooner Ne-Yo wrote the song Bossy for the actress and singer’s forthcoming album, Spirit In The Dark, but admits he was sceptical of her ability before she got into the studio.
He told MTV: "Straight up and down I thought it was gonna suck. I was like, Lindsay Lohan are you joking? Are you serious?"
He added: "What the hell am I going to do for Lindsay Lohan? I took it as a challenge. And we put together a record for her."
After hearing Lindsay singing on the finished track, Ne-Yo went so far as to describe her voice as "ridiculously fabulous" and said that he has since tried to say sorry to Lindsay for his initial judgement.
He added: "It's a quality record. One that I didn't think she was going to be able to pull off. Again, I will admit that. I had to eat my words. I tried to call her and apologise for the assumption."
Spirit In The Dark, Lindsay's third studio album, which is also set to feature contributions from Akon, Sam Sparro and Pharrell, is due for release on November 4.

Following several failed attempts in the record industry, Lohan is back for her third studio album and is intent on stealing the thunder of two members of pop royalty.
She told Now magazine: "I want it to be dance. I want it to be Kylie Minogue meets Rihanna. I hope to tour with it and I hope to really promote it."
Lohan also hopes that the as-yet-untitled album, which will feature contributions from Ne-Yo, will be the perfect chance to put her recent troubles behind her.
"It's a new slate for me, and I want that to show in my new record", she adds.

J-Lo says the stars have suffered because they have struggled to cope with their fame.
According to Digitalspy she said: "People wonder why Britney or Lindsay or Paris is acting crazy, but they don't know what it means not to be able to walk outside your house.
"'Oh, but she has millions!' they say, but that doesn't help when you can't...feel good. I feel so bad when I see people going through the beginnings of it. Because it's not fun. You have to learn to navigate it because if you don't, it will eat you up.
"It's a lot of pressure. And you gotta keep grounded and find a way to deal with it and hopefully have love in your life."

The LDN chanteuse added cattily: "Lindsay our thoughts are with you as you go through this difficult time in your life (she got arrested this weekend) - in the words of Timbaland and Timberlake 'what goes around'..."
